American Samoa is for the first time hosting a technical training conference for IT and networking professionals around the Pacific.
There are 40 participants at Pacific Network Operators Group being held this week at the Tradewinds Hotel.
The Chief executive officer of BlueSky Communications, Adolfo Montenegro says specialized training is being provided to up-skill local IT professionals and telecom engineers.
Mr Montenegro says the workshop is also an effort to bring more technical training and conferences to the territory.
Amongst the attendees will be the Administrators from all Major Telecommunications and Internet Service Providers in the Pacific Region.
