A visitor to Vanuatu's booth at the World Expo in Shanghai has reportedly made an offer to buy the whole of the display including all exhibits for any fee nominated by Vanuatu.

The Daily Post newspaper reports that Vanuatu's booth is one of the most visited in the Pacific Pavilion with more than 1.2 million visitors since the Expo began last month.

Vanuatu's World Expo Commissioner General Sowany Joseph says their Expo Committee will consider the unnamed woman's open offer.

Asked what the total value of the exhibits and the booth itself is, the Commissioner said they are looking at at least 100,000 US dollars.

He says bringing back the display to Vanuatu to set it up as a tourist attraction is also an option.
