A finished tourism master plan for American Samoa will be delivered to the territory next week.
Officials of RCA consultants, the company awarded the federally funded contract to design a roadmap for the development of the local tourism industry will arrive in the territory on Sunday.
They will present the key parts of the plan to the governor, the economic development committees of both the House and Senate, the American Samoa Visitors Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce.
One official says the plan encapsulates what they feel should be the first steps to getting tourism going again and have identified key sites that can be developed to attract tourists.
