The Fiji interim government says it will exclude the country's two largest media organisations from any consultation on a Media Decree expected to come into force early next year.
A statement says the Fiji Times and Fiji TV won't be consulted since they have demonstrated through their perverse publication and broadcast respectively that they do not recognise the contemporary Fijian legal system, the status of the Bainimarama government, are partisan and not Fiji focused.
The accusations have been made despite the military's censorship imposed on all Fiji media since April.
The interim regime says should these two organisations change their editorial, publication and broadcast positions and policy, then they may be invited to be part of the consultative process.
It says dates for the consultations will be publicised in the next few weeks.
