The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is pushing for the creation of a CNMI only Federal H2 worker category under a system managed by the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
The Saipan Tribune reports this new category is seen to provide a long-term solution to the problem of reducing the number of foreign workers as required by the federalization law.
