The aid group, UNICEF, is planning to vaccinate 11,000 children in Samoa against diseases like measles following last week's earthquake and tsunami.
Unicef estimates that 2,000 children have been displaced across the 40 worst-hit parts of Samoa on the south coast of Upolu.
Unicef says it plans the mass vaccination among newborn to 18-months old toddlers to prevent an outbreak of diseases.
An education specialist will furthermore arrive in Samoa this week to help getting children back to school.
It says distributing essential supplies of food, water, shelter, clothing and sanitation facilities also remaisn a top priority.
