Papua New Guinea has beaten the USA at the Under 19 World cup cricket qualifying tournament.

In the match of the Day, between two of the top sides that have already qualified for the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup, Papua New Guinea defeated USA by one wicket.

The game saw the Best bowling performance of any player in the Tournament from John Reva.

Seven wickets from Co Captain John Reva, with figures of 7-34, helped dismiss USA for 179 all out, before Papua New Guinea reached its target with just two balls after Charles Amini dramatically struck the winning runs.

Reva says the last over was nerve-wracking, at nine wickets down.

He says he wants to win the tournament, despite having already qualified.

PNG now need to beat Afghanistan in tomorrows game to have a chance to finish top in the tournament
