Police in Fiji have confirmed the Law Society's annual general meeting has been cancelled.
But no reason has been given by police for the decision.
The President of the Fiji Law Society, Dorsami Naidu says they were initially granted the permit, however it was then cancelled.
Mr Naidu told Fiji Village he will be writing to the authorities asking for reasons as to why the permit for the meeting later this month was cancelled
