Tuna fisheries meeting underway in PNG

Papua New Guinea will today host dialogues on tuna management issues with partners under the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission or WCPFC and the Forum Fisheries Agency or FFA.

The meet will be held for two days in Port Moresby.

The Newspaper the National reports the National Fisheries Authority managing director, Sylvester Pokajam, as saying the meeting will take up market opportunities for tuna, international trade and trade barriers, tuna research development and prospects for the tuna industry in the region.
