Medical students from the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii at Manoa who are currently in Manu'a, have seen more than 100 patients in several areas of the American Samoan island group.

The American Samoa Department of Health medical director Dr. Ivan Tuliau says the three students are conducting free eye screenings, exams and distributing free reading and sunglasses.

The team will conduct the clinic for another week.

This week, the medical students will be visiting the villages to provide free echo cardiograms for Manu'a children.
