The proposed redundancy of 177 Telecom workers in Fiji is on hold after the tribunal hearing was deferred to next month.
The Fiji Times reports the Fiji Post and Telecommunications Association general secretary, Attar Singh, as saying no workers would be sent home until then.
He says since the legality of the redundancy is what's under dispute, it will not be carried out until legal clarification.
