Name suppression for former Samoa govt minister accused of sex offences

A former government minister in Samoa has appeared in the Supreme Court charged with of attempted rape and has been granted name suppression.

The minister has not entered a plea because police are yet to finalise the charges.

Meanwhile the same man is to appear in the District Court this week on a separate sexual charge involving a girl.
