Police in French Polynesia have arrested 15 people allegedly involved in a drug smuggling operation.
The police says the suspects were caught in possession of 340 grams of methamphetamine which is believed to have a street value of 1.3 million US dollars.
The seizure, which is the biggest made in the territory, follows tip-offs from informers.
The police say the synthetic drug was imported as a liquid in postal parcels and reconstituted in Tahiti.
