Fiji's former Prime Minister, Mahendra Chaudhry, says the road map for the country's future is now uncertain.
Just over two weeks ago, the President abrogated the constitution and re-appointed Commodore Frank Bainimarama as caretaker Prime Minister.
Mahendra Chaudhry, the head of the Fiji Labour Party says that that move, after a Court of Appeal ruling that held the interim regime was illegal, was to be expected.
"I don't think the solution lies there. I think the solution lies in how do we go from here. Do we have a serious roadmap for return to democracy or not and that is what needs to be sorted out first. We had one, but that is now, of course, uncertain."
