Tropical Cyclone Lin is moving away from Tonga, tracking a southward path from the country's southern region at about ten knots.
The Fiji Met service, which has been issuing cyclone warnings for Cyclone Lin, says a gale warning remains in force for the Tongatapu group, Eua and nearby smaller islands.
