The Reddy Group of Fiji has purchased the Hotel Kitano Tusitala in Apia for an undisclosed price.
The hotel has been looking for a buyer for some time and had been in negotiation with the Rogue Hospitality Group of the United States whose CEO, Eneliko Smith is Samoan.
However negotiations were terminated last year after Mr Smith twice failed to meet the closing deadline.
Kitano Construction Corporation Manager, Mitsushiko Yamagishi, has confirmed the sale to the Samoa Observer but no details of the deal have been disclosed.
The Reddy Group has nine hotels in Fiji, New Zealand and in Vanuatu.
