Guam's military installatinos to get big US stimulus funding

Guam's US military installations are slated to get more than 45 million US dollars in federal stimulus funds to help with construction and repair projects at the Anderson Air Force base, Naval Hospital and Naval Station Guam.

The Pacific News Cente reports that according to the US Department of Defense Stimulus Spending plan, the Air Force will be getting most of the funding with 29 million US dollars directed towards mainly infrastructure improvements.

The Navy is getting 15.4 million dollars in improvements to bachelor living quarters and Guam's US Naval Hospital will receive just under a million dollars.
