Political parties in Fiji have until today to submit the names of their representatives, and nominated NGOs to attend the President's Dialogue Forum.
Last week's political forum decided to include NGO's in the President's gathering to discuss the way forward for Fiji.
But only 15 NGO's are allowed to attend that meeting and a final decision on which of those nominated will be included rests with the interim Prime Minister.
Despite some qualms, Shamima Ali of the Women's Crisis Centre, says it is better to be involved than not, in any opportunity to move forward:
"The way things are going, it will be the regime that will decided what to take on board and what not, you know, that has been the case in various forums that have occurred over the last three years an so on, We just have to trust in the goodwill and the political will of the regime and of the commander to take us back."
Shamima Ali says unless people keep trying to move forward, her country will be stuck in the current doldrums
