The Royal Solomon Islands Police Fraud has charged two former ANZ Bank staff in relation to a large sum of money that went missing from the Bank early last year.

The Solomon Star reports a 32-year old man from Ata'a District, North Malaita, who was a bank teller at the ANZ Bank at Auki branch when the offence was committed, is accused of fraudulently obtaining the funds.

Police allege he conspired with a 37-year old woman of Suava village in North Malaita who was the branch Manager at the time of the incident.

Both face one count each of Larceny by servant or Clerk and have been bailed to appear at Honiara Magistrate Court on the 16 of March.
