Australia and New Zealand travellers snap up cheap deals to Fiji

Tourism Fiji says Australia and New Zealand travellers are snapping up cheap deals to Fiji.

The Chairman, Patrick Wong, told the Fiji Times that the packages offered up to about 50 per cent discount, and were very attractive and put together after a downturn in business due to the global crisis as well as the recent floods.

He says the deals are a bargain but its their tactical campaign that is generating an increase in bookings.

He says the travel deals in their traditional source markets are valid until September and the aim is to stimulate bookings until the industry enters the high season.
