The U.S. owner of American Samoan-based Blue Sky Communications, eLandia International, does not expect any problems with Blue Sky operations over federal accusations against Sir Allen Stanford and his business affiliates.

Federal government filings states that Blue Sky is owned by eLandia of Florida and 68 percent of eLandia is owned and controlled by Stanford International Bank, Ltd, a company owned by Sir Allen.

The U.S. government has accused Sir Allen and his financial affiliates of operating a massive fraud of certificate of deposit.

A spokesman for eLandia, Javier Rodriguez, says operations at BlueSky Communications continue as usual and they expect no impact due to the complaint filed against Sir Allen.

He says BlueSky the largest provider of wireless service in American Samoa.
