Samoa Sevens coach, Rudi Moors, has kept faith with the players who won the 7's in Darwin recently, retaining the majority of the side for the NZ Sevens in Wellington this weekend.
With just two events remaining until the Rugby World Cup Sevens in Dubai, normal team captain Uale Mai and first five Lolo Lui have been omitted from the squad and named by Moors as non-travelling reserves, although Mai did opt to stay in Samoa following the birth of his first child.
Ofisa Treviranus captained the Samoans to success in Australia two weeks ago, building on their earlier success at the Punta del Este Sevens in Uruguay.
