Business and investors in South Korea interested in Papua New Guinea

Business and investors in South Korea have shown interest in enhancing trade and investment relations with Papua New Guinea.

The National newspaper says there's been a successful showcasing of what PNG has to offer during a one-day Korea trade-investment agency's third international mineral investment show and symposium in Seoul.

The paper says the symposium saw more than 100 people visiting the PNG booth.

Ambassador Kuma Aua, who described the event as "a successful one" for the country.

He says the promotion was a useful exercise to allow South Korean business representatives and government sector personnel to know about PNG and hopefully attract them to invest in the country.
