The Department of Health in American Samoa has today issued a warning to people looting food items from a store destroyed by fire early this week.
The DOH says it has received calls regarding looting of food items from the Evergreen store and it is urging residents not to touch them.
It says these items could be hazardous.
The Department says even if the products appear to be in normal condition the intense heat of the fire may have altered their state.
