The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester will be visiting Solomon Islands as part of the country's 30th Independence Anniversary.
Commissioner of Police, Peter Marshall says the visit will be a significant
event.
"It's going to be a very good affair. It's a great celebration and an opportunity for the people of Solomon Islands. The Duke and Duchess of course were here back in 1978. They haven't visited Solomon Islands for thirty years."
