The Honolulu-based Pacific Resources for Education and Learning has begun implementation of the Enhanced HIV/AIDS Prevention in the Pacific project.

The project is supported by the National Library of Medicine and focuses on community information outreach and training.

It aims to provide librarians, educators, public health personnel, and other community members in the U.S.-affiliated Pacific with training on how to access and retrieve reliable HIV/AIDS-prevention-related information.

Among other outreach activities is several workshops for educators attending this year's Pacific Educational Conference in American Samoa.
