Football Federation Australia chairman Frank Lowy publicly encouraged the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) to investigate an expanded A-League be welcomed into the competition.
Lowy has asked the Oceania Football Confederation to look at the prospect of creating a team of all the islands and if it happens they will be accommodated in the A League.
