The flag of American Samoa will be featured in a new first class stamp which will be released next month.
The commemorative stamp issue is part of the U.S. Postal Service's new series of stamps honoring the flags of all 50 states, the five territories and the District of Columbia.
Pago Pago Post Master Smitty McMoore says the stamp is already printed and will be unveiled on June 14th.
The American Samoa flag stamp is blue with a red-edged white triangle.
Inside the white triangle is an American bald eagle clutching traditional Samoan symbols: a war club and a staff.
Snapshot art depicts palm trees and mountains.
The last stamp issued to honor American Samoa was in 2000 marking 100 years since American Samoa became a territory of the United States.
