A Samoan student at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji has been sent home following an incident which left another Samoan student at the university with minor injuries.
SBC television reported that the returned student was armed with a small knife during the dispute.
According to the report the incident has now been settled without the matter being referred to the police for an investigation.
