The American Samoa Senate has passed a resolution calling on Governor Togiola Tulafono to request the American Samoa Power Authority board to proceed in filling the ASPA chief executive officer post.
Michael Keyser has been acting CEO for the last six months and the resolution states that no indication of a search for a permanent replacement has been made.
In the past six months, ASPA has faced several vitally important issues, one of which is the high cost of electricity.
