More violence disrupts American Samoa school sports

American Samoa High School Athletic Association has suspended all high school sports activities after more violence between Samoana and Tafuna High school students during basketball and soccer games.

There have been at least three fights this week, one involving Tafanua students throwing rocks at a bus carrying Samoana students.

A mother and son were hurt during the incident and were taken to hospital.

The Samoa news reports the sports affected include the boys' basketball All-Star game set for next Thursday which is now on hold.
