New Zealand's world champion shot-putter Valerie Vili has been named on the short-list of performances of the year by the International Athletics Federation.
The winners of the performance of the year will be announced in Monaco later this month at the World Athletics Gala where the Athletes of the year will be crowned.
Vili came from behind and win the world title in Osaka in August with a Commonwealth record and world-leading distance
