A delegation of Solomon Islands Ministers' wives currently visiting Taiwan has received a donation of 5,000 US dollars towards its charity efforts in Solomon Islands.
The President of Taiwan's National Women's league handed over the money to the Solomon Islands women when they visited the organization's headquarters last week.
During their visit to Taiwan, the delegation, led by the Prime Minister's wife, Emmy Sogavare, visited a Buddhist hospital in the Taiwanese city of Hue-lian.
The hospital, the biggest in Taiwan, provided help to Solomon Islanders after the April 2nd tsunami which struck Western and Choiseul Provinces.
