American Samoa intends to submit an official proposal to host the 2008 Miss South Pacific.
The proposal will be made in November to the Miss South Pacific board of directors who will meet during the week of 2007 Miss South Pacific Pageant in Apia.
Hosting the 2008 pageant would coincide with American Samoa's hosting of the Pacific Arts Festival.
