The Papua New Guinea rugby league coach says his side is improving in its awareness and knowledge of the game.
Adrian Lam will guide the Kumuls against an Australian Prime Minister's 13 this Sunday in Port Morseby.
Lam says the 20 strong squad he's named for Sunday, which contains just two overseas based players, has benefited from ongoing development work.
He says it has a greater appreciation of the game while he'll still harness its traditional physical and flamboyant nature against a quality Australian side.
