Fiji is expected to host a week-long film festival in February next year featuring movies from Bollywood and the Oceania region.
The Interim Tourism minister Bernadette-Rounds Ganilau told the fijilive news site the organisers of the Fiji Film Festival will check out facilities and the venue.
She says when she was in Dubai early this year one of the recommendations that came out her visit was to have a film festival in Fiji.
The minister says it would not be a Bollywood only film festival, but a Fiji film festival featuring movies from the Oceania region and the latest ones from India.
