The owner of Samoa's Radio Polynesia, Maposua Rudolf Keil, has banned two of his journalists from attending future news conferences called by the leader of the Samoa Democratic United party.
Maposua has also banned on the station further stories by the SDUP leader alleging corruption in government.
The decision follows allegations of corruption against the government raised in a news conference last week by SDUP leader, Asiata Sale'imoa Va'ai.
In a letter to the journalists, Maposua said the allegations were only an opinion of an individual and should not have been allowed to be used as a news item.
Maposua says the two journalists should instead report and praise the government for some of the good work it is doing.
Asiata says the letter by Maposua to the journalists is intimidation.
