Team New Zealand powered their way through the toughest conditions of the regatta so far to beat Desafio Espanol in the 7th race of the America's Cup challenger semi-finals and qualify for the Louis Vuitton Cup final.
NZL92 smashed its way through choppy waves and strong winds to win by a minute and 18 seconds and take the series 5-2.
The Kiwis will now take on Italy's Luna Rossa for the LV Cup starting late next week.
