The Solomon Islands Peoples Alliance Party will reportedly decide next month whether to withdraw from the opposition.

The Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation says the PAP released a statement saying the national executive is still to decide on the withdrawal of its parliamentary wing leader, Clement Kengava, from the opposition.

A former prime minister, Sir Allan Kemakeza, says he and the MP for North Vella La Vella, Milner Tozaka, will remain with the opposition.

The party president, James Mekab, says a special meeting will be held next month to discuss the party's overall reform and review and its position in parliament.
