A continuing lack of swell has forced organisers to call a sixth consecutive lay day at the Billabong surf pro off Teahupoo in Tahiti.
Surf forecasters remain hopeful of resuming the third event of the 10-round ASP World Championship Tour at the weekend.
Three days of competition is needed to finish the event with just one round completed.
