Ba upset Waitakere United 2-1 in the first leg with Vakatalesau suffering a leg injury when he came on as a second half replacement.
He's been ordered to rest.
Ba just needs a draw to qualify for the FIFA World Club playoffs against the Japanese J league winner.
The winner of that game is guaranteed a minimum 500,000 dollars US and a place at the FIFA world club champs in Japan later this year.
