Palau's capital state of Koro has forged "sisterhood ties" with the Philippines city of Davao in a bid to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
The Philippine Star reports a 30-man delegation from Palau arrived in Davao this week, for the signing of the memorandum of agreement.
The cooperation will be in the fields of trade and investment promotion, economic development, tourism development, education, culture and sports, science and technology, agriculture and fisheries.
