Solomon Islands Justice Minister Samuel Manetuali has resigned from the Sogavare led Cabinet.
His resignation follows that of his party leader Job Duddley Tausinga who resigned in January.
Manetuali said his resignation is not linked to the motion of no confidence against the prime Minister which was not allowed by the Speaker of Parliament.
He says he will now return to his constituency to be with his people.
