The Hurricanes stand in captain Tana Umaga added another achievement to his long rugby career this time notching up his 300th first class games.

Umaga led the Hurricanes to their second Super 14 win in as many weeks this time against the Blues 23-22.

The former All Black captain says he wasn't aware of how many first class games he's played, and hinted that number could rise.

"It's just a number really just like anything else, I didn't realise until Colin told me about it this afternoon, yeah like I said it's just a number, I like playing the game and hopefully I get to play 301."

Tana Umaga was joined in the elite hundreds by Paul Tito playing his 200th while Ma'a Nonu ran on for his 100th game.
