Tonga's National Youth Congress is embarking on a peace-building programme following the involvement of many young people in the November 16th riots in Nuku'alofa.
Manitasi Ledger from the Youth Congress says the program is designed to encourage and inspire youth to build a better future.
About 60 young people ranging from 12 to 17 years old were arrested in connection with the riots, but only a few are still held in police custody awaiting a first court appearance next Wednesday.
Most of them have been charged with wilful damage and theft.
