Vanuatu PM confident of surviving another no confidence motion

Vanuatu's prime Minister Ham Lini is confident he can defeat an opposition motion of no-confidence which parliament will vote on today.

The motion is the third launched by opposition MPs this year.

Mr Lini says the frequent motions appear to be a way the opposition can feel it's doing it's job...

"I strongly believe that the government has the numbers and will certainly defeat the motion this morning..."

The opposition says it is confident of rallying support against the government because of its unpopular kava export policy.
