A total of 3,000 passengers booked to fly on Fiji's national airline Air Pacific over the next six months have cancelled their bookings.
This follows travel advisories issued in Fiji's main tourism markets, Australia New Zealand, as well as Britain and the United States
Air Pacific's chief executive John Campbell, says they have also suspended advertising and promotional campaigns as this would be a waste of time.
The airline has cancelled some services and reduced the size of aircraft to be used on some others.
Mr Campbell says the provision of aircraft seats will be managed to meet the level of demand.
