The Oceania Football Confederation has cancelled the Solomon Islands Beach Soccer team's trip to Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean because it will cost 70-thousand US dollars.
The Solomon's who are representing the confederation at the FIFA Beach World Cup finals in Brazil next month, was to have gone to Reunion Island as part of their preparation.
The OFC General Secretary, Tai Nicholas, says the decision to cancel the trip was not taken lightly, and they're now looking at an alternative programme for the team.
