The President of the Oceania Confederation of Football and a member of the FIFA executive committee, Reynard Temarii says the sport is putting women in decision making roles especially in Tahiti.

Temarii is currently attending the week long Youth Festival along with 1400 youth from the region.

He says women find it difficult to lead their Associations in sport, but Football has opened the door for many of them.

"It's a big problem for women to lead their associations, and I discovered that football can break this culture, and I hope it will be the right way to assist these women who like to be a leader tomorow."
