The World Bank says it will discuss its research into labour mobility in the region at the Pacific Labour Market conference in Wellington this week.

A World Bank spokesperson says it will publish the report conducted by Dr Manjula Luthria at the end of July.

The research looks into labour migration and work schemes and the impact it will have on small communities in a global context.

It also examines how labour migration can fill gaps in particular industries and how high wages are generated and money is remitted into communities.
